Expertly handcrafted from solid ebony, these Columbia Chessmen are weighted for perfect balance, and have the look and feel of pure luxury.

At 4 inches, the king is quite simplistic in design. There are additional carvings to the sleek shank and with his wide base and decorative finial, he makes an imposing leader.

The bishop and rook too are stylishly simplistic however the knights are exquisite and intricate in detail. With alert ears, flowing mane and chiselled bone structure, this is a beautifully ornate chess piece.

This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
