This new and very much improved version of the Manopoulos Wenge Travel Backgammon Set has been very well received here at The Chess Store.
The beautiful wenge case, with its rich chocolate hues, is as you would expect from these Greek experts, of high quality. Adorned with the usual brass hinges and clasps along with the screen printed oak effect playing surface and its softer, yet complimentary, points in amber and cream all add to the opulence look and feel of this compact set.
Despite its smaller size, you can see that none of the details or quality is lost and overall, the whole set has a look and feel of a product with a much higher price tag.
Included in the set are counters, cups and dice, everything you need.
Not only is this set ideal for travelling and holidays, but equally it would be a perfect set for the home where space is of a premium.
