The Highgrove Series Ebonised Staunton Chess pieces are very detailed and superbly finished small chessmen in the classic Staunton design with a beautifully carved knight and bishop, a three inch king, and broad bases.

17.75 inch Montgoy Palisander (Rosewood) and Maple chess board produced by esteemed Spanish chess artisan, Rechapados Ferrer . Beautifully grained deep Rosewood veneered construction, using modern fabrication techniques has produced a board with clean lines and meticulous detail. The rich dark red grain of this unique wood contrasts perfectly with the light Maple wood.
This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
