Description
This set is made from Sheesham or Indian Rosewood which is often used for incense holders due to its slightly aromatic and non-burn qualities. It has a tight grain so it turns and carves well making it an excellent choice for chess pieces. The standard weighted pieces of this set are felted for easy glide over your chosen board. The king is 3.5″ tall and the knight has a smile.
Comes with a 14″ folding solid Sheesham board with 1.5″ squares and an 11″x5″x5″ economy sliding top box for an excellent mid-range set.
