The Broadbase Club Staunton Chessmen are known for their wide circumferences that hold firm on a chess board. Each chess piece commands a larger area than other 3.75 Inch sets, while also boasting intricately carved aesthetics. The bishop, for example, has a smoothly rounded top with a deep indent perfectly carved. More traditional, darker chess boards also fit well with the Broadbase Club Staunton Chessmen, although they must be 19 inches (50 cm) or larger.
