Solid sheesham wood board, heavy and the genuine article. This is a 1¾” inch squares size 18″ folding board (18″ x 9″ folded). The convenience of folding the chess board doesn’t have to detract from the quality and doesn’t do so with this chess board. The board is well designed and has a high quality feel about it that will suit many of our excellent chess sets. It is NOT veneer, its solid sheesham wood.
