Nathaniel Cooke Reproduction Staunton Chessmen
The English chess master, Howard Staunton, promoted this set at the first international chess tournament in 1851. Its clearly distinguishable pieces soon became the competition standard known as the 'Staunton' set. 

The set has embellishments pioneered by the illustrious Jaques of London, which include the king side stamping (please see images)

Chess Board
This incredibly well made chessboard is constructed using palisander and maple inlays, with a thick solid mahogany frame which compliments the playing field. Hand inlay by specialists from Sorrento, Italy.
22" (56cm x 56cm) with 2⅜" (58mm) square size
 to accommodate a wide variety of chess pieces, making this a versatile board perfect for most 4 to 4½ inch sets.
